Dr. Mascarhenas is a very good diagnostician. My family and I have been going to him since I was a child, for more than 20 years. During this time, he's never been wrong, even when specialists opined otherwise. He has a lousy bedside manner - grouchy most of the time, almost always terse, and rarely smiles - but he's completely reliable, experienced, trustworthy and diligent. He's had his clinic - Viveka Clinic - on Brigade Road for as long as I can remember, and has few patients there. He also practices at St. Martha's Hospital, though I've never been there.
